Affiliate disclosure

Affiliate disclosure.

This is the full FTC-compliant affiliate disclosure for Best Belly Boat. It is linked from every footer and referenced from every review, roundup, and brand hub page.

Which programs we participate in

  • Amazon Associates. Primary program. Amazon pays approximately 3 percent on Sports and Outdoors and has a 24-hour cookie window.
  • Cabela’s Affiliate Network (via Impact Radius). Secondary program. Approximately 5 percent commission with a 14-day cookie.
  • Direct-brand affiliate programs where offered by the brand. Rates vary from 8 to 15 percent. We disclose these individually on each review that uses one.

How the commercial relationship works

If you click one of our affiliate links and buy through the retailer, we earn a small commission at no cost to you. The price you pay is exactly what the retailer would have charged you had you arrived by any other route. We fish the boats ourselves before we recommend them. Our editorial verdict is written first, then an affiliate CTA is added. The commission size never influences which product we recommend.

Editorial vs sponsored

Editorial reviews are unpaid. Brands sometimes send review samples; the review is still written the same way, and a negative verdict is still published. Sponsored placements, when we run them, are labelled with a Safety Orange ‘Sponsored’ pill at the top of the page, and they are never mixed into our best-of roundups.

Every outbound link

Every affiliate outbound link on Best Belly Boat uses rel="sponsored nofollow". That is the FTC-required disclosure marker for search engines. It also carries a target=”_blank” so the outbound link opens in a new tab.
